Dear friends,

The general situation regarding COVID-19 has also declined in Switzerland the recent days. Since last Friday, the first soldiers of the Swiss army have been enlisted on a subsidiary basis. Yesterday, the government designated 8,000 members of the army to support the civil authorities. This would be the largest mobilization since World War II. Other units have already been alerted and are currently being enlisted.

All resources are now focused on the mission. A mission whose duration is not yet known. But it can be assumed that it will extend for weeks or months.

For this reason, we have decided to postpone the 8th International OG Thun competition 2020 indefinitely.

This decision was not easy, but as soldiers we have to focus on what we were trained for: to help our country and the people in the crisis.

As soon as there are decisions about a new date for the OGT competition, the staff will inform you.
